Alima is a normal girl, well sort of, minus her being part wolf. Daughter of the alpha and part of the strongest wolf pack in the North. She lives a perfect life with her best friend Nia and her brother Chance, being siblings they will have to fight to see who is alpha, unless one of them gives the position to the other. All is well, until a rival pack invades. Alima is jumped by a large black wolf who fataly injures her. As he walked off, he looked back at her with sadness in his eyes, his bright emerald eyes. A few days later she's back at school and she sees a boy she's never seen before with emerald eyes. His name is Dimitri. Realization sets in that he is the one who attacked her. Alima soon falls for him and they become a couple. All seems normal, but is there something more to Dimitri then it seems? And what could Alima possibly have to do with it?

I see the guy turn towards me and duck behind the house I am standing by before he sees me. Nope! Not him! Not happening! I hear footsteps coming towards me and run. Into the woods I find a pine tree. Perfect! Pine trees are great hiding places. The branches hide you visually and the smell masks your scent. I climb up as quickly as I can and watch the guy approaching. He circles my tree looking around but eventually gives up and goes back towards the houses. "Mate!" My wolf happily purs. "Not him!" I respond. "Denial." She says. "Refusal." I counter and she growls at me. "You will NOT reject him!" She orders. "He is a bully!" "He is mate!" "He commanded that kid when he could have just talked to him! He is a bully with no patience!" "He is an Alpha!" She purrs with pride at his rank. I don't care! "I don't want him!" Ellis Awram has just graduated from high school and got accepted into Robert Franklinsberg's University, in the Adirondack mountains, located in upstate NY. No one believes her when she says she has no idea what a rogue is. They all know she's not human, like them, but she doesn't. With no one believing her she can only pray that the leaders of the pack will hear her out. The next night, Alpha Archer and Beta Ridge return. The Alpha then asks Ridge to help take care of the annoying rogue that the pack has warned them about. Ridge has been looking for his mate since he was 16, now at 21, he has almost given up hope. But then he discovers that the " rouge" his pack captured is none other than his mate. What will happen when Ridge sees his mate for the first time? Will he reject her because she is a "rogue", or will he believe her when she tells him she doesn't know what that is? But even if Ridge did accept her as his mate, why did her wolf awaken so suddenly? And why are there more attacks everyday following her arrival?
