Book 2 in the Rootbridge Pack series. You DON'T need to have read book 1 in order to enjoy this. You'll find a plot summary for An Alpha's Alpha (Book 1) in Chapter 1. J, has been through a lot. A harrowing upbringing was followed by her and her pack being chased by a murderous alpha, Caine, who was intent on owning and destroying J's Alpha, Cassidy. Now, finally, after years of being on the run, J is...safe. She's always been on the outside, a lone wolf with just enough humanity left to attach herself to Cassidy and her pack, but now she's being offered a life in a loving, safe pack, with friends who are practically family. For anybody else it would be a good thing, a chance at happiness, but for J there's just one obstacle standing in her way: The King is dead, long live the King. She may have killed Caine, but his pack need an Alpha and right now, they think it's her. Realising the biggest threat to her pack is herself, J forces herself to leave and set out on her own. She should have known it would never be that easy. Whispers have travelled about Cassidy's protector. About the woman more wolf than most. * Alpha of the Blackoath pack, Logan Black, has been watching J for a while now. Sure, he tried to stop himself but his wolf is obsessed and so is he. Knowing he can never truly have her, he resigns himself to being her unofficial stalker, protector and guardian angel. So, when an underprepared alpha tries to capture her, he readies himself to go to her defence, but he should have known better. As he watches J destroy the pack who'd been sent to capture her, he realises that maybe, just maybe, he's found the only wolf in existence strong enough to match him. Strong enough to be his mate. Strong enough to kill him. However, when it comes down to it, Logan can't quite bring himself to ask the woman of his dreams to end his life, so instead lets her go - and that's where it all goes wrong.

Everyone has been searching for the one prophesied hundreds of years ago, an alpha with the eyes of a true wolf, who will rise up to become the one true queen and change the world. Theia Nightingale was born with the yellow eyes of a wolf, so her father kept her locked away to protect her from her so called destiny. Despite his efforts, word of her existence got out and spread like wildfire, bringing threats to her life along with it. After an enemy pack attacks their compound, and their alpha gets killed, Theia is forced to take her place as the new alpha of the Death Moon Pack at the age of eight. With the help of Theia's protector, Nova Washington, she manages to keep threats at bay, all the while she tries to ignore the future destined for her, to someday become the one true queen. That is, until her future appears before her in the form of a male fae who takes her away from her home, her pack, and her protector. Forced to decide which direction to take, Theia must finally choose between going to war against the queen of the fae or turning her back on her destiny for good. *They called her the werewolf queen of blood and darkness. A curse to their lands, a monster. *"Nobody can take me away from you, my love," Nova told her vehemently. "They can try, but I'll move mountains in order to get back to your side, I'll walk through fire, conquer armies, whatever it takes, to be right here with you until the day I take my last breath." Her lips parted at his words as her fingers traced down his rough jaw. "Not even then can you leave me. That's an order." He smirked, brushing his nose against hers. "Yes, little alpha, even after death I'll be with you. Always." **Although marked as completed, this is still considered a first draft. I'm in the process of editing and adding to the story, but only minor changes will be made. **This story contains mature content. Viewer discretion advised.

"I'm going to erase and replace that man-every man-from your mind," Alexander's grip on me tightens. A snarl escaping his lips to remind me exactly what he is. "By the time we're through, I'll be so deeply embedded in you, you'll ask yourself whether you truly had real pleasure before me." I can't even help my gasp, "Oh my God." "This is where Hell freezes over, Sierra." There's a light click. "There is no God here." *** Cold. That's the only way to describe the Sierra Pack. A Pack known for its ruthlessness and brutality. But when you live so high in the snowcapped mountains, only the strongest survive. The only thing icier than their glaciers is their blood lusting Alpha-Alexander. Hot. Sierra came into her powers at an older age than any other Witch or Warlock. Her ability to manipulate fire has always been seen as destructive and chaotic. But Sierra has always found the beauty in the most feared. With secrets, customs, and traditions in the Sierra, can fire and ice learn to dance with one another? Or will the mountains prove to be too cold for even the hottest of flames? *** Works as stand alone The Wolves of Imperium Book #4 (Sequel to Rebelling the Alpha King) 18+ themes of violence and sex.
