In this AU, we have Mean!Deku and Nice!Bakugo.
It has always been like this, Bakugo being the direct target of all of Deku's sly comments.
Deku has always been the one to be looked up to, even without a quirk he was by far the smartest, sportiest and most popular kid in school. Everyone adored his hero-likeness.
Bakugo, on the other hand, has been the social punch-bag. His uncontrolable quirk, his anger issues, and his quick, irrational reactions, let alone his low-grades and the amount of times he has got into trouble with the teachers. Everyone hated his ambitions to become a hero.
When Deku easily passed his way into UA, and Bakugo struggled to get into the suggestions list, a fire sparked within him.
'I wonder if I can become better than him...'

Emotions fight with each other as new ones emerge, the suppressed ones that have never been revealed before.
