Bonitas Praesul lives in a world full of normal people, and also those who have had their genetics tampered with. Lots of people are genetically "enhanced" to be %3 of an animal. Boni, in this twisted, segregated world, is up to dance with danger. She will look in the very face of death, feel life leaving herself even. Her only hope is Noman, her new friend. His gang, the Justitium Pactum, has worked its way to be an underground organization that thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands work in. For what? To put an end to the Teva's reign over the world.

The Superspecies Two: A Haunting Sci-Fi Horror Mystery by GordonByron
2 parts Complete
A young girl is brutally abducted by a bloodthirsty grizzly, forcing a group of scientists to mop up a genetic engineering operation that is out of control, threatening any and all who enter the woods. One question remains: are the animals really dangerous for no reason at all or does their enhanced intelligence simply make them recognize something damning about human nature that needs to be understood before it's too late? Harmonious coexistence with an emerging highly-intelligent species competing for dominance over the earth or total destruction of humans and animals alike? Those are the two options now. Two groups of scientific researchers are sent to a forest where bear attacks are frequent in order to study what is happening only to find themselves attacked and outsmarted (in part) by the animals themselves. Two environmental action groups also find themselves at odds over the fate of the dangerously genetically-enhanced creatures. One group wants to see the beasts wiped out completely and the other wants to preserve them at all costs, even at the expense of human life. The two sides are locked in an impasse, unable to resolve their differences in an amiable way which leads to ever-increasing tension, animosity, kidnapping and murder. Entire forests are quarantined in an attempt to control and contain the beasts but soon holes are discovered in the operation as key players start disappearing in addition to animals eluding their hunters, fighting back and changing the field of battle to their own terms. Ambushing their pursuers on more than one occasion. As the "pro-beast" and "pro-human" sides chase to their own interests with the unfortunate bears caught in the middle (struggling to establish themselves in a human dominated world), the animals learn more and more to rely on their expanding awareness to survive and thrive in an entirely new world...to evolution shattering effect!

[COMPLETED] •Being revised... AGAIN (Progress: Intro-Chap. 3)• "We're going back... Understand? There are more threats out here than we anticipated, and they're all after you-" Lukas' voice erupted into static and chunks... I glared at the man in all black as the light continued to beam and blind me. Without my glasses it was actually painful. And then there was silence. My bare feet hit the metal floor of wherever we had jumped to, and I put my hand up to shield my eyes from the vicious attack of bright light. Not again." Alexi Callidus is living in a post-apocalyptic world... In the 25th Century. The year is 2470. She's been surviving on her own for 4 years and 8 months inside the same building with her only companion without seeing the sun. 5 years after the brutal unexplained murder of her family. 7 years after the genetic disaster of "GASP". 7 years and 4 months after the War of Nations. Everything seems to be barren and empty... But if her super old sci-fi movies didn't teach her that looks deceive, nothing will. Technology, before "GASP" (Genetically Altered Soldiers Program) and the War of Nations, was insane. You could be teleported in the blink of an eye, or healed from a once fatal injury in days. With the majority of the population infected with a viral genetic plague, almost any of the survivors could access this technology... Including Alexi. When a simple quest for survival turns into a journey of a lifetime, will Alexi be able to survive the weight of the gruesome truth when she finally uncovers it? Will our heroine be able to fade into the background and live a quiet life of cunning? In a near-future Earth where genetic engineering has reached unprecedented heights, a groundbreaking discovery has the potential to change the course of humanity forever. Dr. Aria Locke, a brilliant but morally conflicted geneticist, stumbles upon a way to create "Synthetics"-individuals who possess not only enhanced physical and intellectual capabilities but also the potential to transcend human limitations. As the first generation of Synthetics emerges, they become a symbol of humanity's relentless pursuit of god-like power. With abilities beyond imagination, they walk a fine line between saviors and threats. Dr. Locke, burdened by guilt over her role in their creation, fears that humanity's hubris may lead to its ultimate downfall. Among the Synthetics, Elian Stroud, a charismatic leader, envisions a world where their god-like abilities are harnessed to reshape humanity's destiny. He believes that they possess a divine right to guide the world toward an age of unprecedented prosperity and peace. But as the tension between Synthetics and ordinary humans escalates, the dark underbelly of ambition and power becomes apparent. A clandestine organization known as the "BioNexus" seeks to exploit the Synthetics for their own gain, using their abilities as tools of control. Amidst the brewing conflict, Aria and Elian find themselves on opposing sides of a philosophical and moral battle. "Synthetic Evolution: Genesis of Hubris" explores the profound question of what happens when humanity attempts to ascend to the realm of gods, and whether such power can be wielded responsibly or if it will ultimately lead to its own destruction. This gripping first book in the "Synthetic Evolution" series sets the stage for an epic exploration of ambition, morality, and the consequences of pushing the boundaries of human potential in a world where the line between humanity and divinity is blurred.
