Through thick and thin, through bad and good times they were always inseparable because their friendship was always a SURE THING.
Gypsie and Jayleen have known each other since the first grade through their parents. Gypsie’s parents were a little bit more financially stable than the other although Jayleen’s parents were satisfied with their earnings and tried their best to make their daughter happy. Gyspie and Jayleen practically shared everything together and although they had their little ups and downs that didn’t stop them from developing this strong chain that’s wrapped around their friendship. Now that the both of them are 21 and attended a community college….living together in an apartment their parent both rented for them find out what’s up and yeah you gone see some flash back in their childhood too. I lie there staring into her forest green eyes that were staring back at me. I felt a pang of hurt in my chest when i realize what she just told me. I grab her hands in mine as i feel tears brim my eyes, "Kenzie, come on you can't do this me!" I cry begging her to take it back "You remember what i told you" She sniffles holding back tears herself, "no strings attached, one of us was going to get hurt eventually" "I-I don't care that you hooked up with Scott, just please don't leave me!" I beg, letting the tears fall from my eyes, soaking my cheeks "That's not the only thing i did, He asked me out" She drops her head in shame, "and i said yes" With that she runs off as i let myself drown in my tears. An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. I'm not here to write a romance with a happy ending, I'm writing to prove life isn't always perfect, in most cases it never is, especially when it comes to love.
