Taking my sister to get autographs of her favorite band might not have been the best decision considering she’s the biggest blabbermouth. I still don’t know how my family has been able to keep this secret so long. What does help is whenever my sister did tell someone they would never believe her. It’s a serious secret that no one wants to believe. It is after all horrible to people who haven’t experienced it. It’s an iffy issue that someone would do anything to believe it’s not true no matter how obvious it is. I tried telling the police once. They didn’t believe me. No one ever believes a kid. The police officer told me “This is a serious thing, kid. You can’t joke about this kind of thing. You may think it’s a funny prank, but if it actually happened to you you would know it isn’t a joking matter.” How ironic considering it wasn’t a joke and I HAVE experienced it firsthand.
