Clarissa Fray was in the institute's library one day when she came across a series of books called Harry Potter. She became fascinated with them and by the time she finished she told Jace that she wished she could live in that world.
Then one night she had a dream. In that dream, an angel showed her a rune.
The next day, she showed the rune to Jace, Alec, Izzy, Simon, Luke, Magnus, and Maia.... They were picked up and carried through time and space.
Landing at Diagon Alley as eleven year old kids.
