I try to push her out, but she's all that's in my thoughts and she's shines bright enough to pierce the veil.

* * * * * *

Amelia is positive that if she got any farther into the closet, she would find herself in Narnia. It doesn't help when her anxiety is constantly hitting the roof and her once best friend, Nathan, is determined to make her straight.

Rain just wants to graduate early and get out before her past catches up with her. Despite this, Amelia catches her attention, and Rain finds herself only wanting more.

Amelia doesn't want more problems, and Rain loves finding solutions.

"She shone too bright, I shone too little."

---------------------------- Alex never thought she could love anybody. Her family left her to foster care, and she hasn't been able to ever make any real friends. She plans to live a simple boring life, possibly until death comes for her, but is that what she really wants. No, perhaps she just needs someone... someone she never realized was just around the corner from her life. Shirley has had a great life up until now, at least she likes to think so. She does prefer looking at things through a more positive lens, so things like her debilitating health conditions seem to slip her by. Eating less food could only be a good thing right? Well, soon she would learn, not only to take better care of herself, but also to love. An experience she has yet to discover, until her lingering eyes fall far too long on one particular girl. ~~~~~ Wendy was the sweetest girl alive, with simply no one to share the overwhelming stream of love she had to share. When a storm hits her town, she's locked inside, desperate and alone for what seems to be an eternity. But unbeknownst to her, this would bring her closer to love than ever before. Marissa was getting over her past trauma, and only games could ever do that for her. During yet another month of locking herself up in her room, she found someone who was different, a light through the darkness that was her life, an angel, to save her tortured soul from damnation. At least, that's how she might phrase it. ---------------------------- The title was chosen years ago, so I decided to leave it be and combine these two stories. This will be a moderate length mini story for the two couples, exploring their journeys which happen at completely separate times. These are the untold stories of our side characters from my other book's shared universe, but reading those two books are not exactly necessary to enjoy this one. Either way, this is made for those who want to know more about these characters, so please enjoy.

Am I a lesbian? I don't know. I guess everyone could surely affirm who they are after graduating from college, I mean, you have already lived with yourself for 22 years. But for me it is not like that, I am 22 years old and I am very far from discovering the truth hidden in me, and that like flowers, is looking for the light, because everything changed since I met those brown eyes that completely changed my way of seeing the world. Nora lives in the shadows of her own heart, aware that something beats differently inside her, but she hides within herself to avoid being broken by the expectations of others. There is something inside her that she is unaware of and that, like flowers, is searching for the light.
