Nova and Vulcan.
Twins brought into the world when a human and monster fell in love.
One of them blessed with good looks, the other cursed with a horribly disfigured face.
But the children's appearances are not the only thing the two don't have in common.
Nova is kindhearted, merciful, and possesses a soul so sweet- others are easily drawn to her. Vulcan, on the other hand, is mischievous, brooding, and seems to be the only one of the two who carries powers he inherited from his otherworldly father.
Despite living in a sheltered environment, the twins, along with their mother, enjoy their lives together...but times are soon to change.
Word of a dark prophesy is spreading. It is said there will one day be death on a massive scale, brought upon many by a very powerful being.
When disaster strikes and secrets are uncovered, the prophesy begins- and the twins find they have a rather large role to play in its outcome.
