Her late mother was the High Queen of the Sea; in command of all things and creatures out in the oceans and rivers. She'd only heard tales of her might; how the woman possessed the abilities to control water, and how she was both powerful, and kind as a High Queen. She died when Kana was a baby, and Aslan has raised her ever since, so that one day Kana could assume the throne, her birthright. Kana knew the day was coming, and it was affirmed when Aslan told her that the prophecy was coming true. Two sons and daughters of Adam and Eve would come to Narnia and aid the daughter of the Sea Goddess in ending the White Witch's reign.
