It's been 2 years since the Ceremonial Duel between Yami/Atem and Yugi. Yugi still hasn't gotten over that Yami has left for the afterlife and hasn't done a whole lot since. When the story of Yugi's father becomes clearer, can he handle who he truly is or will he fall into a pit of despair and loneliness. After all what if Yami's departure wasn't a goodbye, but merely until next time I see you. YamiXYami/Atem eventually but not right away. I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh or it's characters. Just the plot. Might turn into multiple books.

Unfortunately it isn't going well with Yugi as he is not the happy teen he used to be. Yami has had enough of watching and begs the gods to let him return and they do, giving him the body he used to have. What will happen when Yugi meets up with Yami again and when Yami has seen what has happened to Yugi. I do not own Yugioh or it's characters, I only own the plot. Pretty nice title right? XD Well Atem is now of age to marry (he's going to be 18 in this), as said by many of his subordinates. But out of all the princesses he's have to put up with he can't find one that intrigues him. So deciding to ask The Winged Dragon Of Ra, Atem is told that if he takes a walk in his kingdom he and his fated soulmate shall meet.

This story has recently been put in the Yugiohwattyawards for 2017! If you haven't followed them yet I would recommend it! There's always some really awesome books entered! Atem was born into the royal house hold in Egypt. His life was to say the least exceptional. He had anything he could ever want, Toys, games, clothes, pets. The only thing that would dampen Atem's life is that when he was 3 he contracted polio and lost his ability to walk. then one day 2 a new son was born into the royal family, named Yami. 6 months later a plague swept through the grain fields in Egypt leaving the people hungry. The pharaoh being preoccupied with this had no time to spend with his wife and children. Angered by this the queen comes to the conclusion that it's Atem's fault and that he needed to be punished. Condemned to be lock in his room and forgotten about Atem soon finds comfort in an imaginary friend named Yugi. Ten years later Atem is still locked up like a prisoner. When Atem's father finds out about Atem his mother agrees to have a servant look after him. To Atem's surprise the servant boy looks exactly like his imaginary friend he had when he was younger.
