The Scent of Wildflowers

Lydia Harewood is struggling against the weight of what should be, and what actually is. She should be going through what everyone else her age is, worrying about her studies, looking for her Mate, and thinking towards the future.
Instead, she is struggling to battle against the stigma of being the offspring of a rejected pair, terrified she'll end up exactly like her Father, worried about if she'll be accepted into the Alphas Guard due to her history and after all that, looking for her Mate just doesn't seem all that important when he probably won't even accept her.
