Willows Peak is a quiet town. Everybody knows everybody. You can see just about everything from your back yard. You grew up going to school with all of your neighbors, and heading to the gas station on the corner after football games to buy 99 cent ice cream cones. The same cashier checked you and your friends out every night, the same one who checked out your parents when they were kids too. But you are not kids anymore. High school is over, and its only a matter of time before the walls Diana has built in order to protect her friends, her brother, and herself come crumbling down- no matter how well thought out and tall she built them. For years Diana Walker has know that she tell someone the truth. Maybe it's her guilt, or her anxiety finally getting the best of her after all of these years, but one night when her brother goes too far, she anonymously reports to the police of a rape and murder. But she loves her brother too, despite every horrible thing he has ever done. Or maybe it is not love, but rather the fear that without him in her life she truly has no one in her life. Well, she's not exactly alone. How will Diana deal with the struggle of becoming an adult, her criminal brother, and the whole town searching for answers? Will she be able to walk away clean, or will she get dragged down along with the people she once called family. They say blood is thicker than water, but it can also be very slippery.
