This is the edited version of my book The Weight Game that I wrote when I was 13-15. Aubrey has always been the ultimate target for bullies at her school. All she wants is to be good enough for once in her life. What happens when she goes online and finds a website called 'the weight game' where it teaches people quick ways to shed weight? and she takes the tips that tell her to fast, and purge? Never put someone down, because it will never help you reach the top. And never call a person fat, because you never know what they will do in order to prove you wrong.

Taylor's little sister, Elizabeth, is struggling with an eating disorder. Lizzie is 15 years old and Taylor is desperate to help her. Trigger warning: this story will contain topics related to eating disorders, depression, self harm, anxiety and mental health. However, I will try to avoid mentioning numbers related to weight or calories. This is actually based on my story, but of course there's fiction too. It's my first time writing for other people to read, so any comment/advice is more than welcomed.

Jules is forced to live a life in the psychiatric ward after her eating disorder nearly ends up taking her life. Stuck in a life that is contained within four walls, while she fights her battle with an eating disorder and depression, trying to gain control of the demanding voice in her head. Finally having to admit that she can't do it herself and faces vulnerability by doing so. She endures love and heartbreak but only she can save herself. They had control, had, past tense. Now they wish they did. Their bodies are screaming for help but their head is saying otherwise. Hunger coursed through Jules's body, the rumble of her stomach was like a thunderstorm, violent and painful. It scared her, yet it also satisfied her. Suffering alone inside of your mind from a terrifying mental disorder, is something that even those who battle such a thing every day, cannot fully understand. It's like being alone 24/7 yet it's never quiet inside of your head. You can't stop the voices. You can't control your emotions. As it gets worse, you lose control of your body all together. You become prey to your disease and You can't fight back. That is what it's like for someone who has spent years of their life suffering in silence from an eating disorder. Rita becomes strict with her eating, everyday the number of calories she eats gets lower and the amount of time she does cardio gets higher. She practices of managing her starvation by distracting it and never catches a break on the scale. Nobody is aware of it, it was something Rita doesn't want her friends or family to know, hiding her body from them didn't last long. Her mother noticed the dramatic weight change on her body. She tries to help her get back to her eating and tells her many times that she's "perfectly skinny" but nothing works. Her mother puts her foot down as Rita started to get ill, her mom takes her to a mental health hospital. She deals with consequences from her nurses and other patients.Completa
