Silas and Casper are on a short leash while investigating the human remains uncovered on Saltwater Bay.

Casper's notorious for digging into affairs that don't concern him, so it isn't a surprise to the New Port Police Department when he pulls his partner in crime into the murderous mystery. Chief of police, Dale Archer, makes it his sole duty to keep the boys away from the investigation, but he doesn't do too good of a job at it. Their digging and sniffing around proves to be availing as they uncover more clues amid the web of secrets harboring their quaint town.
