For years the five Clans have lived in harmony; in many moons of peace, the five Clans have thrived and prospered in their home. But the times of prey-filled forests and times of quiet peace are quickly broken when Dawnbreeze is cast out of SkyClan for breaking one of the clan's oldest laws.
Tired and alone, she lives the rest of the days in the Twolegplace as her anger and vengeance for the Clans only continue to grow. Her pawsteps are then shrouded in shadows when she gives birth to a kit ; woven in her burning love for her only kit is still the lingering taste of bitter resentment and hunger for revenge.
Luna, born outside of the clan, embarks on a path of self-discovery as she travels to the Clans to seek revenge for her mother. However, on her path threaded with vengeance and betrayal, a new prophecy causes the clan to believe that Luna is their new saviour. Swept into a quest she did not ask for, Luna struggles between the legacy her mother had chosen for her and the strong tug of walking her own path.
