Everything started wen an expedition went wrong in taiga, one of the biggest forests that covers 10% of the Earths ground passing through the far northern reaches of Europe, Asia, and North America. 

Is the human Race safe?

Vampires roam the earth. Humans know there are here, but doing nothing about it. There have been many wars, but they called a truce. The fighting stopped and vampires were free - as long as they did not cause any harm to humans. When a vampire and a human get together, there is almost no chance that the baby will be born human, in fact, there is less of a chance that the baby will even be born alive. A vampire and human couple finally have a baby; half human, half vampire. This baby was like no other, she had powers which could change the balance of the human-vampire war that has just arisen. Lyric doesn't know that she's a vampire until she turns 16, and everything goes downhill, not to mention her mother's crazy ex-vampire-boyfriend, her friend turns out to be a vampire and the humans want Lyric on their side. Will Lyric help the weak or will she give into temptation?

Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character.
