Durch eine Anomalie im Hyperraum landen Kanan und sein Padawan Ezra in einer anderen Dimension. Schnell stellt sich heraus, dass es sich dabei scheinbar um eine verdrehte Wirklichkeit handelt, in der die Piratenjedi - denen Ezra angehört - um ihr Überleben kämpfen. Denn ein böser, reicher Ex-Jedi versucht - begleitet von seiner Lothkatze Snazzle und seinen persönlichen Leibwächtern - alle Padawane zu vernichten.
Nach mehreren peinlichen Verwechslungen beschließen Kanan und Ezra den Leuten des Paralleluniversums zu helfen und einen Weg zurück in ihre eigene Dimension zu finden.
