Survival in space was our only option. The dying earth and its sickly inhabitants forced us to flee to the stars. My father, the commander of the elite group chosen to live amongst the stars, brought me along for the journey. And everything was going smoothly until I unexpectedly woke up on a new planet, one with an ethereal glow and an eerie resemblance to our old home as the commander of the military space force, my father tasked his men with exploring this new world. But what they discovered was far from welcoming. This new planet was already inhabited by terrifying creatures, and they were not happy with our presence. His men fought to survive against these beasts, I couldn't help but wonder why they were so hostile towards us. That's when one of them approached me, defying everything we had been warned about. Instead of attacking, it watched me pick flowers before later saving me from a fiery blast. Now it's my turn to save him. Please read the prologue in the beginning before going to Chapter 1. One day Ira notes a signal coming from the between the space of the twin stars of Sirius. She responds back inviting the intelligence to visit the earth, specially her. The intelligence whom she refers as Sirius starts to speak to her, visit her in her dreams and often take over her body in experiences she did not believe possible. Jan warns her detecting her changes and reminding her earth is home and he could give her a future together but attracted as she is to him, she is unstoppable in her quest of the twin stars of Sirius. Then one day Jan knocks on her door, yet this was not her boss she knew. This was a man with deep understanding of space and wormholes and her. He extends his hand for a travel through time and space, assuring nothing but an experience of her deepest wish, galactic travel through the worm holes. But once on the planet between the two Sirius es, Ira realises this Jan was a shape shifter, she does not recognise him or know if he was the same man from her work. She however knows an earthly being like her would never survive there. As Jan reveals himself as the Prime Advisor of the planet, ruthless about everything but the survival of the planet and its people, he chains her literally to his side. In her mind comes the warning he will literally absorb her life and then discard her is a barren space. Desperate she tries to jump into the worm hole only to realise that the twin stars created a mirage worm hole had pushed her further into the abyss of nothingness where not even one star was in sight. Desperate she asks for assistance. Yet when it appears would she be able to accept it.

I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. However, that's what they put on their records, and it's what sounds good and looks suitable to their investors. So this is the way it's going to be. So be it! Oh, did I forget to mention the Universe decided I was the lucky girl to help find the one person who could save us all from self-destruction? Yea, that is a shitty idea, but once again, no one cares what I think.Complete
