When the vampires decided to reveal themselves, everyone thinks it's ridiculous or believes them. Hunters kill rogues, vampires who kill humans. As long as a vampire isn't caught feeding, or doesn't kill, they're safe from the hunter, but what happens when a vampire doesn't want to leave a certain hunter alone?
All Rizza has ever known is the life of a hunter, but not just any hunter. She has a gift, a power that no other hunter has. She can sense anything and everything. She can see all of the right answers, sense people near her, and can even see into the future, but there's a price. Every few weeks, and sometimes sooner, she gets sick to the point of death. Humans don't know what is wrong with her and her fellow hunters would never entrust her to a witch or vampire's healing abilities.
Rizza is used for her power to locate rogues and tell other hunters, or hunt them herself. Until, that is, a pair of vampires come to her town, and even go to her school. Angelo, a high-class vampire, and his father have just moved there, and when Rizza reveals that she knows what they are, Angelo follows her everywhere. Both are forced to make difficult choices...Do I kill him? Should I help her? What does he want? Why doesn't she run away? Why does he care? Will she die?
These questions don't stop either of them to uncover the truth behind Rizza's illness and powers, Angelo's connection to Rizza, why Rizza was forced to become a hunter, and, most importantly, who is out to kill Rizza and who wants to save her. The reason this story is about Rizza: she is meant to either bring peace between the races, or destroy everyone.
