Grimoire

The Nick of the Woods is a dangerous forest, heralded as the only place untouched by time or war. Many heros and villains walk through the forest, looking for something to help themselves, or to complete some personal quest.

Rose Thune is the Woodsman, as her father was before her, and she has set before her her own personal task as the newly instated Woodsman: To kill any wolf she finds in The Nick. That is until she meets a particular wolf who won't leave her side.

Robin Harrow is a vigilante by day, and a leader by night. Deep in the forest, he and his village live as a secret society of thieves, forever bent on plotting against the Royal Court. Robin is faced with the task of making a daring steal each night, and avoiding the eyes of the Woodsman at the same time.

Mirror is a small boy with unusual abilities, raised away from the rest of proper society by a benevolent woman who goes only by the name Swan. Now lost and on his own, he walks the forest path looking for his way home.

These three souls are all locked away and set on the same path, each one unaware of the other. Their lives have been tied together and the only way to reach either one's goal is to work together or the story ends there.

They are the character's of a long told tale, written and documented for thousands to read.

They are trapped in a tome called Grimoire.
