More Than Friends?

Derek Jace is dating Jessica, the most popular girl in school. But, their relationship isn't good. Derek is verbally abused by Jessica and sometimes physically. His best friend Fred keeps telling him to dump her, but he ignores him because he believes he loves Jessica. Until one day that he catches her in the act with another guy. Derek dumps Jessica faster than you can say "bitch, who?" and he's not as heartbroken as you would think. That's because he has hidden feelings for his best friend Fred, but he doesn't exactly know that until after he dumped Jessica and he and Fred started hanging out more.

Fred Booker was Jessica's friend, but he became close to Derek. And he's in love with him, and has been as soon as he saw those baby blues. He's livid about the way that Jessica treats Derek and repeatedly tells Derek to dump her only for Derek to not listen despite the fact that Jessica is always sleeping around with other guys. But, when he gets wind that Derek dumped Jessica, he jumps at the chance to get closer to Derek.

So, will the two end up together? Or will they remain just friends?
