Link never took an interest in socializing with other people. He was always going to school and working so he can focus on providing a life for his little sister, Aryll.

Zelda, his new neighbor, moved next door to him. He was forced to welcome her and show her around since she didn't know anybody else in the neighborhood.

Zelda became someone he got close to. She made him feel comfortable to open up to other people. Link still wasn't interested in dating, but when he got set up on a date, Zelda started to develop feelings for him.

He didn't know he loved her until she was with someone else.

Link has defeated Ganondorf and Hyrule has once again recaptured its' reign of peace and prosperity. Or has it? Mayhem has returned to the land of Hyrule as news sweeps the nation that the Hero of Time must be wed! The royal family will hold a competition/ball, and all are welcome to enter. However, our hero Link has only eyes for one girl... and that's you dear reader! (For the sake of the story we are going to pretend Zelda does not send Link back to the child timeline.) This is a Link x Reader romance and my first time writing something of this genre. There will be a PG-13 ending AND an NC-17 one. I'm giving a whirl at some smut writing (you can thank the lack of romance in my life for that.) The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. As an attempt to break his loop, Link's little sister Aryll and her friend Tetra make a goal to set him up with Tetra's older sister Zelda. With Thanksgiving weekend just around the corner, the two merge and each discover how special the other is. But what happens when other girls are involved? Zelda Hyrule's life has always been one that is not her own. Zelda has always been the spitting image of what her Father wants her to be. She has never broken a rule. That being, never been out past 9 pm, has never cut a class, and most importantly, has never, ever had a boyfriend. She goes to her private academy like her Father wants, and that's the end of her story. However, her fate takes an unfortunate turn when she accidentally gets herself blamed for something she didn't do and is expelled. Now, with her Father furious with her, she has no choice but to finish out her high school years at a regular public school. She has her eyes set on clearing her name, and no intention of staying in this crappy public school. As if by pure sheer coincidence, or maybe it was fate, she meets Link. Link, the silent superstar of the school, who, in her hour of need, comes to her side with no hesitation. She is undoubtedly drawn to him, yet she needs to stay away. As she progresses day by day, she meets a couple of new friends, and even a few enemies. Will Zelda clear her name? Or will she stay in this public dump for a couple of friends and a silent knight? While usually an introvert, Link's tired brain seizes the opportunity to sit next to the girl he's noticed since school began. Completed, but not 'wrapped up' just a cute fluffy ending.
