Drip...Breathe in...Drip...Breathe out...Drip...Drip...Drip...She focuses on the sound of the water dripping from the faucet as she tries to catch her breath. She feels the world around her fading in and out. The darkness comes and goes, and she wishes it would just swallow her whole. She tries to push her thoughts out of her mind as she focuses on the water. Slowly, she starts to calm down and come back to reality. She looks around the empty bathroom. She feels the cold tile beneath her. She hears the water dripping steadily. Drip... Drip... Drip... Her mind is clear. She starts again to think about why. Why she loves him. Why she can't tell him. Why he won't say how he feels. The thoughts flood her mind again. She wraps her arms around her knees. With her head bowed, she fights back tears. She's confused. She thinks about the way he used to look at her, and how he hasn't looked at her like that in what seems like forever. She's hurt. Again she focuses on the water. Drip... Drip ... Drip... The darkness completely fades away, and she can see the fluorescent lights blinding her. As her eyes adjust, she slowly lifts herself off the ground. She looks in the mirror and wipes her tears. One more deep breath. She opens the door. As she leaves, she hears the steady sound of the water fading away. Drip... Drip...Drip...
