"Look, Jay, we are both in a predicament, okay?" She leaned forward and looked me in the eyes "We can be the solution to each other's problems!"
She sat back and held out her hand. "Deal?"
I looked at her in disbelief. She wanted to be my beard, why? As far as I knew she wasn't gay, what was she getting out of this?
"We need rules first." I said in a shaky tone completely unsure on how to take the situation.
She dropped hand on the table it made a slight bang. She rolled her head around and groaned. "You dummy, don't you think I know that?"
She started shuffling through her bag after that, "Here," she plopped a folder down on the table, the outside read rules of the beard.
"Oh my," I whispered slowly pulling it closer.
She snorted "Yeah I know, it's quite magnificent, that's why you should agree, it's fool proof!"
"Now, Jay," She leaned forward once more any cockiness had left her face "Would you like a beard?"
I looked down then back up again. A smile creeped onto my face. I grabbed her hand "Yes!"
She laughed and sat back, "Glad you came to your senses, lets go over the plans now, okay?"
