[ Fantasy / Romance / Book 1 ] In Pyxis, a city of fairies at the icy border of civilization, Queen Andromeda intends to reach into the modern world of humans and kill everyone associated with her ex-husband, Scott MacRae, the King of the Unworthy, born with the ability to live in either world, fairy or human.

Scott's sons, Christopher and Joseph MacRae, are enmeshed in their own struggles, oblivious of the forces that have shaped their lives and led to a rift between them.

The fate of the MacRae family rests in very small hands. With the queen's estranged daughter, Cassiopeia, acting as their guide, the MacRae brothers learn more about their intertwined families and embark on a quest to find Scott MacRae before Andromeda finds him first. Their quest, shared by the fairy princess, takes them great distances, both geographical and personal. All the while, Pyxis plagues their thoughts, haunts their dreams, and sends forth its dark messengers to carry out the war that started long before they were born.

It is possible that love could heal old wounds. But in the wrong place at the wrong time, it may have as much dividing power as evil does. . . .

In a land far, far away, lies the Kingdom of Fiore, a small peaceful nation of 17 million, and a place filled with magic! Found in every home, bought and sold in every marketplace, for most, magic is merely a tool, a mundane part of everyday life. For some, however, magic is an art, and they have devoted their lives to its practice. These are the mages. Banded together into magical guilds they apply their skills in search of fame and fortune. Many such guilds dot the landscape of Fiore. But there is a certain guild in a certain town that soars high above the rest, one from which countless legends have been born... a guide that will no doubt continue to create legends well into the future. Its name... is Fairy Tail. In the ranks of this guild is an SS-Class wizard that goes by the name Izreldan Kamisureiya. Over a decade ago, he lost his parents when he was still quite young. One day, a monster was going to kill him, until he was saved by Old Sage one of the Ten Wizard Saints. He trained him, taught him magic, and treated him like a son. Before Old Sage leaves he tells Izreldan to go travel around the world and find new friends. He agreed to his proposal and allowed himself to travel around to find a new purpose. Could Fairy Tail be the very place where he could find true happiness? (I don't own Fairy Tail and Hero? [Fantasy / Romance / Book 2] In Queen Andromeda's unforeseen absence, Scott MacRae has assumed power. His son, Joseph, is his right-hand man. And Pyxis, the fairy city they preside over, has never been more peaceful or prosperous. This is the appearance they need the fairy world to behold. The truth is too cruel to fathom. They are painfully vulnerable. Evil is never very far. So they bury it deep and cling to the hope it won't claw its way out. Scott MacRae knows in his gut that Andromeda will return and that his days could be numbered. It's no wonder he can't focus or sleep at night. His heart is full of holes. There is only one void he can possibly fill - if any. But as both a father and leader, any action he takes will have profound consequences. Joseph believes what he wants to believe - that which makes him admired and respected, a fairy celebrity, everything he wasn't in his former human life. But his truth lurks in the shadows too. Try as he may, he's far from perfect. He can't forgive or forget. Or avoid temptation. He's come so far. He's found his purpose. And yet he still wants what he can't have, an ideal he perpetually fails to obtain. Cassiopeia was always a princess, but for the first time ever, she's assumed the lifestyle she was never granted during her mother's reign. Despite the dress fittings, grand appearances, and a high-profile engagement, she doesn't have any real power in the kingdom she will supposedly inherit someday. She is small. She is wingless. She is not her mother. Her world never fails to remind her. Does it even matter? It's hard to say. Something is missing. Or someone. And she isn't who she once was. The higher they rise, the harder they'll fall? Christopher MacRae. He left four years ago and no one has heard from him since. Is he dead or alive? Is he the solution or the problem? And where is Andromeda anyway? If Christopher and his allies haven't vanquished what remains of her army...then who will?

[ magic, romance and madness. ] Everyone knew that a romance between a guardian and their protégé always ended in tragedy - yet they risked it. One day, I read that in real-life fairy tales, the princess sometimes needs to befriend the dragon and kill the prince, perhaps not to the most extreme extent, considering the prince's utility. (*Wink*). Twenty years had passed since the demise of the last living descendant bearing the bloodline of a potent family within the mystical realm. Individuals who possessed magic more formidable than anyone could have fathomed and that very magic could be pilfered if they were to meet an untimely end-a rumour ignited like wildfire. Word began to spread about the sole surviving member of the Lysion family, the last vestige of a lineage renowned for their blessings from the gods (or, as some argue, their curses), once no more than bedtime tales for children. Two decades earlier, a game of hide and seek unfolded that culminated in the death of the final Lysion at the hands of Oldo Blake, a formidable figure in the annals of history. Or so the story goes. An obscure girl. A concealed secret. A relentless pursuit. With a motley crew of bewildering Other Siders on her trail and an absolute dearth of knowledge on how to harness her precious magic, Rosélina Johnson's life transformed from that of an inconspicuous university student to that of a fugitive in the mystic realm, utterly unprepared for what lay ahead.
