The reign of a former leader, Wildheart's mate, has come to a close, and it is now time for the deputy to step up and take his place. Many challenges await the she-cat this time. Without the aid of her mate, nor her friends, it is her responsibility to steer Thunderclan away from the path of destruction. When a disturbing prophecy is unearthed accompanied by a terrifying vision, it only becomes more apparent that the sudden disappearances of kits and the poisoning of Windclan's water was no coincidence.
