A rookie Hunter from Moga Village, a woman with a broken family and a love for all things pokey, and a cat walk into a bar.

Arthur Fallings has spent his entire life training to be a Hunter, and when he is finally shipped off to a coastside trading city, he is elated. However, it doesn't take long for a new yet familiar threat to rear its ugly head, as the rookie's fate begins to intertwine with a monster both powerful and mysterious. 

Arthur, his friend Ashley, and his Palico Red must endure onslaughts of powerful monsters, deaths of close ones, and deadly creatures driven by the will to survive.

All this, as slowly turns the Wheel Of Gods.
