Annika, a young maiden, wants more than anything to become a knight. She sets out on an unforgettable quest and makes some new friends on the way!

You think being a girl is easy. Well, I'm going to tell you: it isn't easy. Hell, it's so hard to be a girl. Especially when you live in the time period of King and Queens, with the knights in shining armor. Every guy I come across thinks I need to be swooned, flirted with, and swept off my feet. All of the knights that I was with broke my heart, so I don't trust anyone. Not wanting to break my shield around my heart again. I don't need a knight, but right now I think I could consider needing one. I have run away from home, angry at my parents want me to marry. I decided to grab a basket from the kitchen and running out of the castle, my home. To the meadow I so much adore going to when a bear disturbed my peace, smelling the berries I have picked, chasing after me and the basket.Complete

Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. How will the mystery unfold and how will Zelda and Link achieve their dreams? I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. But I think I write stories better than I write summaries I promise haha... ~Clean and appropriate for most ages~ There will be some minor blood and other descriptions that may be disturbing for young people. 'Pointless' That is how the protagonist saw everything. It all started with an accident, but it is pointless to explain it here. His life ends, then it starts again, except it starts in a otome game his sister had bought. And he reincarnates as his sister's favourite character. Unfortunately, he's a side character who is scripted to have an abrupt ending. Determined to live his life he gains a sense of purpose, a feeling he hasn't had in a long time. He's not just any side character, he's the protagonist of this story! Welcome to my adventure into writing a short story for the Dragon Princess theme set by @_Once_Upon.
