Brooklin's life is relatively normal for a guy living a futuristic world with mythical creatures. His family's bakery is doing well and his summer vacation couldn't be better.
Unfortunately for him, the machine well-known for matching people to their soulmate match's the prince to him and a another young man from a poor part of the country. A man who's father tried to kill the queen.
