Ottilie Hawthorne is the master of transformation. Going from house to house, school to school, city to city- each one comes with a different version of herself. It's somewhat of a game to her. How long can you last, Ottilie, before getting attached to that one identity? So far she's won every single game with herself.

"Ottie" was perfect and preppy.
"Til" was dark, ruby-red lipstick and metal music.
"Tillie" was good grades and honor roll certificates.
"Lilie" was the town tart.
"Tildie" was the master of every sport.

But those are all "Lies" (pronounced "Leese", rhymes with "Reese"), which is what Ottilie plans to call herself next. But with the place she finds herself in, she finds it harder and harder to keep up with the "Lies" she's been spinning for herself.

Out of ten brothers, which one does she choose?
Is she only meant to be their sister, and nothing more?
Is this the Safe House that she's been looking for?

When faced with these questions and more, how can she be anything but Ottilie Hawthorne?
