poetry is an art-form that many seem to mistake for pretentious aesthetics
and while that is part of what make poetry unique,
people tend to forget that the point of poetry
is to bend the rules
not just with spacing and diction
but also with the stories you can convey
true poetry doesn't need to be aesthetic
or beautiful or perfectly finished
true poetry remains unfinished in the most messily beautiful ways
oh also, I'm using this app as a way to promote my book, Unfinished, which I will be self-publishing and selling this summer!
