It was a stormy day. The wind spoke in tongues. The leaves of the trees were screaming for help. The sky that once used to be sunny is no more but now are glowing with dark gray clouds. All the house was lit with the sparks of thunder and the flames of the candles. A writer on the computer writing. Her parents and bother were sleeping but she couldn't. The storm in her mind was more powerful than the storm outside. The words on the page slip out and they became her reality.

"What do you want?" she asked still facing away from the other. Her eyes were focused on the rippling water in the fountain before her. The other stood quietly for a second. "I want you to know that... even if you're my enemy, I can look past our differences." She kept her eyes on the water and snickered taking the other girl by surprise. "And what if I don't?" she said now making eye contact with the other. Her face was dusted in red from frustration and embarrassment. "Suit yourself then!" she huffed and stormed away. She looked back once more before disappearing into the moonlit forest. ----
