He waited a few seconds before responding and then chuckled. "Really? Explain then."
"Well. We're young, hot, bored. The sex could be very advantageous."
"Hmm." Elijah looked up at me now, arms crossed.
"The thought of us in bed together wouldn't plague our minds anymore."
"Very true."
"I'm a much better stimulant than your other vices."
"Right you are, Carter."
"So then what's the problem?" I smile, feeling as though I've made an accomplishment. He stood silent for a while before taking a deep breath and walking closer to me. He took a few steps to many as he was nearly towering over me, making me feel small. I looked up, not afraid of a little confrontation.
"So let's say we do have sex. Let's say right here in this very kitchen, I take you and all that's good about you, and fuck the living shit out of it. We enjoy the fuck out of it. What's to be of our interactions after?" He stepped back, freeing me of the intimacy I had been longing for.
"Does anybody ever truly know what happens after anything? What happened to spontaneity?"
"That's for old married couples with boring sex lives. If you are seriously considering having sex with me I want to know what repercussions we're going to take after to ensure our relationship doesn't become a toxic one."
"You sound like a fucking idiot."
"But you want to have sex with this fucking idiot, so?"
"You're losing my interest." I rolled my eyes at his arrogance and proceeded to remove things from the bag.
"Yea right." He smirked. "I've got you tied around my fingers, Carter."
