Erza had Jellal return to Fairy Tail with her after she found out he had no where to go.
Jellal does join Fairy Tail with no memory of his past and Erza helps him remember certain things.
Team Natsu is there for support, even though they don't fully trust Jellal.
However, they soon realize that Jellal is still possessed by the ghost of Zeref.
