Instead of young Michael killing his family and sent into the professional care of doctor Loomis it was instead his younger sister, Laurie Myers, she was only six when she committed the deed.

Michael, after the death of his older sister Judith, was sent to another family as his parents were deemed unfit to raise a child. He was sent to be apart of the strode family.
