7 Characteristics of a Good Website

1) Clean and Well Design

When a visitor visits a website, the foremost thing, without a doubt, he/she looks is design. The design represents your Company or Product. That's why the website is a means to impress a potential customer viewpoint of a Product. And design can do that. After all, the first impression is the last impression. Some of the key elements of design are Layout, Navigation, Color, Graphics, Fonts, and of course, Contents. Remember, design is more than just representing your Company or Product but a quality Web Design also affects the Search Engine Rankings (SEO). The website with a clean design is more likely to Rank High in SEO.

2) Feasibility and easy to use

While developing a website, it is strongly recommended to know what is the purpose of your website, who your customer is, and how easy is the website for them to use. The Website should enhance user satisfaction by enhancing usability, accessibility, and pleasure provided in the interaction between the user and the product. That's why User Experience (UX) is necessary to build such platform.

Feasibility includes Navigation Hierarchy, Less Loading Time, SEO friendly Contents, User-Friendly Links, and more. Always check how effective UX on your site is. If you don't have this feature, you need to hire someone with UX experience to improve the efficiency of your Website.

3) SEO Friendly

Search Engine Optimization or simply SEO is a powerful technique which helps to get traffic from Search Engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo. This technique also facilitates your website to rank higher than other thousands of websites in response to the search query in Search Engines.

Clean Design and UX alone is not enough in building a website. The site also needs to be optimized to earn more traffic. Otherwise, all the efforts in design and UX will be in vain..

That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. 24 new emails looked back at you from the screen. You could feel the headache setting in, but you opened your email anyway, looking through the new messages. Two from your statistics professor, about a new assignment, another one from the RA in the dorm building, one from the admissions office, about your application to the study abroad program, one from your American history professor- Hold the phone. You rapidly clicked on the email from the admissions office, scanning through the paragraphs. Reviewing your application to the program... taking into account your grades and your major... looking at schools in the area... pleased to say we can accept you into the program. Accepted. Part of you had forgotten that you had applied in the first place; it had been months ago back at the end of last semester, and then you had gone home for the summer and put it behind you. But being back at school had brought it to the forefront of your mind again. This was great. You had needed some good news today. Turning up the music, you danced out of your desk chair and jumped around the room a little, excited. You were going to Mexico for a semester. You could already picture it now - warm weather, good food, and firsthand experience speaking Spanish for at least six months, maybe more. Not to mention all the adventures you could have in a foreign country. This would be something you would remember for years, and just thinking about it made your day better.
