In a bed chamber high in the trees of Lothlorien is a young she-elf is sound asleep. "She will wake soon if Mithrandir is to proceed with his quest to Erebor. The darkness will grow, and she will awaken to fight it, like she did long ago." Galadriel says, turning to her husband and taking his hand. The she-elf is not as young as she seems, she had nearly faded when Galadriel found her at the beginning of the second age. The elf never woke, but the Lady of Light has foreseen it; Naehlara will awaken to help lead the elves, men and all free folk to peace, for she is the High Queen of the elves. The only living elf from the first age. Her fae grows stronger with every year bringing her closer to awakening. Galadriel once was friends with the elf, her father Thingol; king of Doriath before it was abandoned and forgotten as the first age elves left Middle Earth to go back to Valanor or faded with time. "I have longed to see my friend reawaken but how do you explain to one that nearly two ages has passed since she fell into slumber." Galadriel says, a small smile growing on her face. "She was a mighty warrior, the best in all of Middle Earth. But she was stubborn, not as wise as most elves. A lot more like our Woodland kin, the ones in Greenwood." Galadriel says, a laugh slipping through her lips as she remembers watching Naehlara fight in the wars long ago. How she'd argue with anyone that stood in her way, nearly taking the head off the captain of the guard when he would not head her warning of the armies coming from Morgoth. ✨NOT A HOBBIT FANFIC IT IS SET DURING LORD OF THE RINGS✨ A/N I do not own any character other than Naehlara and maybe more if I choose to add more. But probably just Naehlara. I'm newer to the fandom so please let me know if i got any facts wrong. I hope you enjoy the story Also maybe be slow updates due to work but I hope to put out consistently!

Thirty years after the events of The Hobbit, Legolas heeds his father's words to go north and find a wanderer named Strider. However, his search for Strider comes with danger: orcs. So when he is saved from a deadly ambush by a mysterious, yet cunning she-elf, Legolas does all he can to unmask her true identity while staying focused on his mission. Miranna Foxglove's Elven parents were slain by orcs when she was just an elfling; she has a scar -an emotional and physical one- to remember that night. When hordes of orcs start roaming Middle Earth once more, Miranna, along with her mare, tracks them and exterminates them along the way while finding the orc who killed her parents. She does not expect to find two things during her hunt: the Elven prince of Mirkwood and a place that has always waited for her to call home. My Strange Persephone

12 parts Ongoing

What happens if Adar didn't actually die at his children's hands? Sauron decides to spare Adar's life, both because he wants his former subordinate back, and because he wants to use him to draw out Galadriel. Can Galadriel come to Adar's rescue and defeat Sauron? And what kind of a relationship will they be able to have if she does? As a side note, the story is called My Strange Persephone, because that's what Sauron calls Adar here. I kinda see them as being like Hades and Persephone (Sauron is a demon; Adar is an elf that was stolen from Lindon...), so that's where that comes from. Most of the story is based on the events of season two. Finally, fair warning, the story does get dark in places, but will conclude with a happily ever after for Adar and Galadriel.
