A world full of shapeshifters that turn into one animal such as rabbits, wolves, snakes, squirrels, and many others. In each area their is a different type of dragon: in the forest and fields their is the grass dragons, near rivers, lakes, and oceans their are the water dragons, near deserts their are sand dragons, near ice and snow are the blizzard dragons. Their are many more than those dragons but I'm guessing u get the idea. With each of these dragons comes great powers depending on their type. Unlike the dragons the other animals are the same in this world as they are in our world. And just like animals from our world, theirs predators and prey. This story takes place in the forest, and their is a chance of a war because the lower animals think that the dragons should be at the same level as them. Will the dragons and the lower class be able to deal with their problems? Or is their a war ahead of these shape shifts?
Throughout the story it will change from character to character exploring different lives of the shapeshifters.

He kept repeating to himself whenever they would start screaming at him and finally he snapped. He wanted to get away from there. He wanted to feel free again. So when he finally got to move to Gravity Falls with his sister he didn't even think about the certain yellow demon that was waiting... This is one of my first times writing so if you don't like it pls don't judge. On the other hand if you do like how my shitty writing is now then just be ready bc I am sure I will do better in the future (damn I seem cocky... The dragons have come and gone since the Pliocene epoch when Wooly Mammoths roamed with humans during the ice age. For many of the I and E generation in the Americas and parts of Europe, it was something to avoid being taken by them to their world. But many knew the stories they told, the things they saw and missed, and in this world of social media, the child coming home, reborn as a shifter. For 16-year-old Nathan that was his reality. For 11 years he's not only avoided getting grabbed but helped others avoid a similar fate. But a black dragon was watching him grabbing him only to lay low in the nearby woods, something they did to pick out who'd they take. It did that for 10 years, more than 3 times longer than usual. His actions and the amount of time he had avoided them made him a sort of celebrity in his town in the midwest. But one day that black dragon made its decision, he was to be her hatchling. When they're usually marked the child could turn to protective mode, running from home to prevent drawing attention to other children for the picking, and that's what he did, right to where they last landed. Luck, choice, a possible spell in those claws, whatever you may think doesn't matter. A black dragon never misses its mark. With agility unsurpassed by the other types they're almost impossible to avoid. But these dragons didn't breathe fire, were a threat, nor in any way the size of a 747 max.
