"Atreus, how long this time?" I asked.

"Probably just a few more minutes, Love. I'm sorry." His green eyes crinkled. I think he hated it just as much as I did.

"I wish I could stay." I laid my head on his shoulder. This time we were siting on the grass, watching the sunset.

"Me too," he said, as he kissed my head. I watched him fade away, again.

Emery was turning sixteen. It was supposed to be the initiation of her change, but everything doesn't seem to go as planned. Between a rude bestfriend, an over zealous guy friend, kidnapping and Atreus, Emery isn't sure what to think. Who should she trust? Should she trust the guy that has been with her in her dreams from day one or her clan and the people she grew up with?
