(book 1 in the Wings of Filament Series) For Hae Sujin, life has been...great. If you're an optimist, which Sujin is not, that's what you'd most likely say. For Sujin, who's lost both her parents and has no-one but her fraternal twin sister to rely on, things are actually getting worse. To make matters even more complicated, she has schizophrenia, meaning she's seeing/smelling/hearing things that aren't there, and insomnia, meaning she's not getting enough sleep. Her twin sister, Chi'un, is quite the opposite. Sujin is tomboyish, her twin is not; Sujin likes to be alone, her twin sister finds it fun to barge in on her when she's reading a book...alone. Chi'un is two inches (5.08 cm) shorter than Sujin. Her twin sister is also an hour younger. Living in the seaside town of Yeoyong, South Korea, things should be peaceful. SHOULD being the operative word. Yeoyong is a major tourist destination outside Seoul and Busan, home to a lot of things that most wouldn't find in Seoul. Like a couple kids who know what Linkin Park and AC/DC are. These kids are Sujin and Chi'un Hae! But, as the twins were born with powers that make them different from (pretty much) the rest of Yeoyong, things might be getting worse as they go. The twins have to run. But can they before the government finds them?

"Hey, Chi'un, pass me the guidebook, please," Sujin asked her (younger) twin. Chi'un rolled her eyes.
"Get it yourself," she replied.
