This is the sequel to the Cars Valentine's Day short story I wrote last year. It takes place on the same day the first part left off on. In this story, Cruz and Jackson go on the date they planned earlier that day. But of course, things don't go exactly as planned. Jackson is convinced that he is not in love with Cruz. After all, how can he be in love with his rival? Cruz, however, really thinks she has a chance with him. They struggle to be themselves around each other and admit their true feelings, and when Cruz accidentally takes things too far, she regrets ever setting the date up in the first place.
