Carter Wesker, now newly Carter Kennedy, has spent the years since the Raccoon City Incident working side by side with Leon Kennedy, her boyfriend of six years, and husband of three months, for the US government against bioterrorism. Recently, there has been talk of a possible bioterror attack in a small village in Spain. Leon was on a mission, so Carter was sent in by herself to check it out. She found the Los Illuminados Cult, a religious group where people are controlled like puppets by a parasite that also turns them into bio-organic weapons. She doesn't get far into her mission, when she is caught, overwhelmed, and held captive, completely disappearing off the DSO's radar. No one tells Leon that his wife went missing on a mission until he returns. When he is told, he is furious. So, when he is given the mission to go rescue the President's daughter in the same area that Carter went missing in, he takes it, with every intent of finding Carter first. What will happen when he not only finds her, but gets infected with the Plagas? And, more importantly, how will he get himself, Ashley, and Carter home?
