Lila Rossi is becoming far too much for Marinette Dupain-Cheng to stand. Lies, lies, and more lies. The final straw happens when Adrien, the only other person who knows about Lila's deceptions, is away on a trip, and Marinette's friends begin turning against her as they accept the lies as truth and start to see Ladybug's hidden identity as someone she's not.

Heroes are not perfect. They're still people. They will run into problems in life just like everyone else, and they will not always make the right decisions. That is exactly what happens when our very own Ladybug finds herself confronted by an akuma, attracted to her feelings of isolation, betrayal, and hurt.

When Adrien returns, he quickly transforms upon hearing of the newest supervillain, but is horrified to discover it is none other than his Lady, who now calls herself Miss Fortune. He goes to confront her, but a horrifying twist takes place when it is not her who succumbs to him, but he to her.

What will happen when Paris's two guardian angels become Miss Fortune and Chat Blanc, partners in crime? Who will protect them now?
