Reuben is an outlaw nicknamed "The Jackal". He has been on the run from pinkertons for a couple of days now after pulling off a daring heist against a train carrying a lot of gold. He was able to get out with some bars of gold and for the most part evade the pursuing pinkertons. However as he settles down for the night after a day of constant riding, something seems to be amiss.

Last Chance
Being constantly compared to ones brother can make one feel neglected. This is the case for Kai Walker. His brother was the star of the schools soccer team as well as the star of the basketball team. Everyone adored him and held him on a very high pedestal. This includes his own parents. For all of his sixteen years he has been constantly compared to his brother whether at home or at school. But at the same time, this technology is used to create synthetic android weapons of war. Among those weapons, a former Nation's Army combat android by the designation of AX-15. After being critically incapacitated in action, AX-15 was rendered unfit for service and was practically thrown out onto the streets. However, the android had been discovered by a smooth-talking mercenary that still found use for the combat androids' capabilities and given him the new name of Axis. The two go on to become the most feared hitmen in the underground, going by the name "Machina Mortis".
