In Harper Maxwell's world, being a superhero is one job application away. However, being a hero is a male-dominated field, and one of the only female heroes dies right in front of Harper's eyes. Now she's got a dying wish to fulfill and a whole bunch of superhero standards to live up to. As Harper learns what it takes to be in a hero role, her eyes are also opened up to what it means to make a difference and stand up for what is right, even if you're standing alone.

Iris Wayne has no choice but to move to Gotham when her aunt unexpectedly passes away. Having no other family to turn to, she goes to the one person who hasn't been in her life since she was born: Bruce Wayne, her father. Upon beginning her new life in Gotham, she accidentally stumbles into one of The Joker's heists. Somehow impressing the psychotic criminal in allowing her to live, she realizes her luck did not come freely. Iris must allow herself to be a playing card in the Joker's game against Batman if she wishes to stay alive. Contains use of drugs and alcohol, cursing and of course, mild smut, but nothing too graphic. Thou hast been warned!
