I curled my knees to my chest, staring into the darkness of my room, sighing. I turned on my back and looked up, at least what I thought was up, trying to tell myself that this time it was going to be okay. I laid there for what seemed like an eternity but when I turned to the red illuminated numbers on my nightstand, It was 12:30 am and only ten minutes had passed. Out of frustration I turned and thrusted my nose into my soft velvet pillowcase. I started to scream like a child would do to expel the leftover energy that kept their body from the much needed rest. My groaning was muffled, but still loud enough that I was satisfied with the volume. I took a few more deep breaths and continued my odd ritual until I finally began to yawn. Not before long my eyes began to close on their own and now the only thing the pillow muffled was my soft breath.

"Arabella"

The disembodied voice was enchanting as it called my name, I felt like I knew the owner of the deep gentle whisper. I reached out, as my hands slowly began to disappear from my sight. The void selfishly consumed the light around me, but I could still see my thin fingers wiggle in front of me, taking turns as they vanish and reappear like a weird magic trick. Again the voice called for me,

"Arabella".
