Untapped Potential: his greatest disappointment.
For their entire life, Reginald had preached upon preached that they all had enormous potential; Klaus got the brunt of it. Luther would get a firm slap on the back, Allison would get some definite praise, Five would be told that he was a gifted mind, Diego was told that he was getting better, Ben would get a gift, and Klaus... Klaus would get a lecture. They all got told they had potential, but Klaus was the only one who was ever told he was a disappointment because he couldn't reach it- because it was supposedly greater than he could imagine. Fears are what nightmares are made of. Malia's biggest fears? Abandonment, being alone, and losing her loved ones. She went through it once already, she doesn't think she'd survive if it happened again. Malia was born of an unusual birth but her parents thought of her as a miracle... at least, at first. As she grew older, strange things began to happen and her parents thought maybe she wasn't their little miracle after all. As Malia grows she tries to understand certain feelings no child should ever have to experience: neglect, abandonment, and fear.
