"We danced every night among the thickets, twirling and leaping through the midnight forest, the sky above us a deep rich blue, flickering with the light of the falling stars. The forest was always silent until we'd come, the birds and crickets anticipating our arrival, awaiting to join us and fill the woods with beautiful melodious humming of all different creatures joining together with our voices. We'd follow the weathered, dusty, old trail snaking up along the side of the mountain, beside us a small gurgling stream, where we'd delicately run our fingers through the cool waters. Once we'd reach the top, the entire valley would be below us, together we'd laugh and point out our houses. Then we'd run as hard and fast as we could, collapsing under the massive grey oak tree. And then, surrounded by stars, the ghosts would come."All Rights Reserved
