He moves into the apartment next to Alex's and can hear the cries through the walls. With each cry of hurt from Alex, Jace falls for his student more and more. Each time Jace tries to help, Alex falls for his teacher more and more. What happens when Jace sees for himself the assault Austin does to his son, and finds it too messed up to be with the already shattered boy? What happens when Alex is tired of hearing the same thing over and over again, "That Jersey boy is one troubled mistake."
