Almost dying can change a person. For most it pushes them to live life to the fullest; for Ryan, it lets him hear voices and see ghosts.

After a fatal car crash, Ryan Hubbard wakes up hearing a voice in his head that isn't his own. It wants him to find something--someone. As if that isn't the worst of his problems, he can see ghosts too. Naturally, he tries telling people about his new abilities. And just as naturally, no one believes him.

When Ryan gets dared to go into a supposedly haunted house, he almost refuses. But curiosity gets the best of him when something inside him (specifically, the voice) tells him to go. He wasn't exactly hoping to find anything inside-least of all the diary of a dead little girl and the sudden urge to find her killer.

With the help of his friend Lya and the voice that refuses to leave him, Ryan is set to unravel the mysteries and unlock the secrets of the little child's past.

Do paranormal things, witches and magic exist? There are gifts that are waiting to be discovered. The mythical power is just waiting beyond the deepest darkest tunnel of the unknown. Only the brave learns to test the waters amidst the labyrinth of its knotted mystery. PLEASE, NO PLAGIARISM. (~Created July 6, 2018:Finished August 5, 2018~) Being engrossed in studying his current case detained him from leaving at once until he forgot the time. He never mentioned to Hera that he's going home after two decades. Only his youngest child knows of his trip back home. Whether he believes in curse or not. It's his 45th birthday tomorrow and he must be home to keep his promise to his mother. His family had never forsaken him, he did. He'd been ignoring their summons since he turned his back from them. Perhaps it's time to grant their plea. He closes his office and walks to the elevator. "Good evening, Artemis." The man in a black jacket greets him. Artemis smiles at the stranger. "Do I know you?" The stranger puts his arm around the stunned lawyer. Behind the unknown man's dark glasses are bloodshot eyes ready to scare the wits out of his prey. "Your mother does. She's expecting me to greet you happy birthday." Removing his dark glasses, he stares at his victim to corrupt his eyes. Insurmountable fear assaults Artemis as excruciating pain drills on his eyeballs. A horrible scream slits through the silence of the night when the clock strikes twelve. As the elevator opens, the stranger loosens his grip and the victim falls on the floor. Covering his bleeding eyes, Artemis winces from severe pain. The man whistles away as he walks past the dead body of the security guard in the lobby to the snowy road outside the building. His victim crawls out of the closing elevator. The curse is true. He must get into his car before his sight totally leaves him. He must warn his family. " I must save Athena!"

Liam left everything that he knew behind, his house, the neighborhood he lived in, and the city that he knew. Why? Because he needed a change. He needed a fresh start; he couldn't handle the gossips anymore, the neighbors whispering behind his back, the failed relationship that ended with a heartache for him and not his ex. He needed to be in a new area where no one knew what happened; no one knew the suffering he went through. So what does Liam do? He packs his things, sells his house, old furniture, and buys a new home in an area he's never even been in or heard of. Everything should go perfectly, right? This fresh start. Not quite, Liam has an unwanted guest in his new house, and this guest doesn't want to leave; she seems to be telling him that it's her house and not his. She's mistaken; this house was Liams. After all, he's purchased it for an excellent price and has moved all his new things in there. She's the one that needs to go, not him. So why is it that Liam is unable to kick her out of his home? Why is it that she won't leave?! or is it that she can't go. Strange things start to occur in Liam's new home, something that shouldn't be happening, spooky things, things that would happen in horror movies, and Liam doesn't know what to do. He starts to panic; he's the only one panicking; the unwanted guest, on the other hand, just stares at him with a smile as she throws her head back, letting out a chilling laugh. "We'll see who ends up leaving, because I am not going anywhere." She says.
